Buses
There are 3 bus routes that will take you to the racecourse
from the city centre
Number 11 Indigo line takes you
nearest to the racecourse, and runs at half hour intervals, with stops
at the Stonebow, Rougier Street and the Railway station. It takes about
10 minutes to get you right to the racecourse, ask to get off at
Racecourse Road
Numbers 12 - Pink line, and 13 - Brown
line leave you with a longer distance to walk after alighting from the
bus to get to your destination. It goes down Tadcaster Road, past one
side of the racecourse, and you need to ask to get off at Knavesmire
Road, and then walk about 800 yards down Knavesmire Road and Racecourse
Road to the entrance of the racecourse itself. These routes also run at
half hour intervals via the Stonebow, Rougier Street and the Railway
station as well.
