YLAF brings you a hot line up of lesbian music and comedy at the prestigious Grand Opera House
The concert is hosted by the Yorkshire Lass with a passion for performance Belinda O'Hooley. She sings, plays piano and makes a mean scone, but tonight, she will be discarding her pastry brush and introducing four of our finest lesbian acts:
Bringing dyke humour to the forefront of alternative comedy, Clare Summerskill will have you laughing in the aisles or at least chuckling a little bit. Fresh from her national tour, Clare's blend of monologue, song and stand-up is a witty observation of characters from our 'lesbian nation'.
All the way from New York, Erin McKeown has a ballsy voice, great toons and looks hot in a shirt and tie. Did we mention she's coming from the US?Keep laughing with Jen Brister, Cutting Edge Comedy Mardi Gras winner and finalist of the BBC Comedy Awards. This stand up comedian from south London is really very funny. “I laughed so much; a little bit of wee came out” B O’Hooley
