Access

York Racecourse is just outside York City centre (link to directions page of York Racecourse website). Travel info on our Visiting York page (link) Access is very good and an access team is on hand. There is full wheelchair access at the racecourse. Infra-red hearing system. BSL (Britsh sign language) interpreters at some sessions.

The Grand Opera House is in central York. The Opera House dates to 1902 and wheelchair spaces are unfortunately limited.

Please say that you need a wheelchair space when booking your ticket for the concert. There are disabled toilet facilities and an induction loop. Our access team can advise further. Please request an access questionnaire when booking.

If you or anyone in your party are deaf or disabled, please fill in an access questionnaire when booking, so we can plan for everyone's needs. This includes those who will be using the infra-red system or need a disabled parking space... whatever you need, we want to plan in advance for it to make sure your day goes smoothly.
